Choosing a good photographer is more than picking the person with the pretty photos on your IG feed. Here are some tips on picking the right photographer for you. 

they provide what you need

Make sure they provide the service you’re looking for. Need headshots? A family photographer, though capable, may not provide that service because it’s not within their niche.

they have good customer service

They have good customer service. Are they responsive? Do they treat you kindly? Do they show up and email you when they say they will? You should have a great experience with your chosen photographer, including responsiveness, kindness, and consistent communication.

they care about you

Most importantly, good photographers (any good business owner for that matter) genuinely care for their clients. They want the best for you and want you to feel special, relaxed, and confident. They will want you to know you aren’t just another name on the books.
