For Matthew's session, we started at Henry Horton State Park in Chapel Hill. I love the look of their old basketball court, which Matthew actually plays on every Sunday. This location allows for something unique and different than the basketball gym!

Matthew has a sweet car, so we definitely had to incorporate that into his photos! We used the car in a couple locations with different looks. I'm a fan of both!

Ok, this might have been my favorite part of the shoot. For one, I just loved this little location at the park. Two, it fit Matthew perfectly, and he had an outfit he was excited to wear in this location. While we were here, there were a couple of deer we were hoping to capture in a photo, but they were having no part of it! Lol. We respected their privacy.

columbia, tn

Once we finished in Chapel Hill, we headed to Columbia. I think downtown Columbia is a little hidden gem for some cute portraits. When Matthew mentioned wanting a city vibe, I knew this would be a good option for him. Matthew's faith is important to him, so our first stop was St. Peter's. They have a beautiful building along with the perfect prayer garden.

From there, we hit up a few more spots right off the square. One location was an abandoned building that was boarded up - such an awesome look for a more urban vibe/look. Matthew rocked it!

The last stop we made easily could have been my favorite but wasn't only because I was sweating to death at this point, lol. Nonetheless, the little Texaco station is so fun and brings such a different vibe. I think Matthew really enjoyed it, and that's what was most important.
