Why I Chose Athlete Photography

I grew up watching and playing sports. Dad always had a football or baseball game on, and I was involved in softball and basketball until I graduated high school. My little league team won the state championship twice. We traveled all over the state and southeast region to play in tournaments. It was some of the best times of my life. This is how I know the importance of capturing this time for other athletes.
i have a soft spot for athletes
I can't help but love a kid who goes onto the field and gives their all. I don't even care if you're the best player; if you hustle and don't give up, you're doing great. I know the grit and discipline it takes be an athlete. When I was in high school, I would go to school each day, go to softball practice after school, then go to work and not get home till 10:00 at night just to get up the next morning and do it all again. I loved the game, and I did what I had to do.

Because I love sports and I have this soft spot for athletes, I can connect pretty easily. That's what I want with clients. Not just schedule a session, go through the motions, and then be done. No, I want to know who you are. I want to know how I can encourage you. Being a kid/teenager can have its tough moments. I know I sure had mine.
