Fall Family Mini Sessions

Portrait, Families

Mini sessions are such a good way to get updated portraits in minimal time. Since I started focusing my business more on athletes and seniors, I offered Fall family mini sessions for the first time this year.

The sessions were held at South 40 located in Franklin, TN. This venue is beautiful! Fun fact: I played softball in high school with the owners' (Ann & Jeff) daughter. It's so awesome to still be connected with this family so many years later. Definitely check them out!

The Houstons

My first family are friends I met through my sister a few years ago. Melissa, Rich, Harper, and Mason have been clients of mine for about three years now. They are always so much fun. Rich definitely keeps it interesting with his dry sense of humor and sarcasm - I love it! Harper is such a girl and always likes to show me her sass. Mason is your typical little boy, full of energy and invites you to be on his agenda as opposed to on our own, haha.

The thomas girls

Another fun fact: Rileigh and Emory's mom, Kristin, was my high school softball coach. It's actually weird to call her Kristin because to me she will always be "Coach." Rileigh and Emory are all girl. They were both so sweet, and Rileigh looks just like her mom! It's crazy. You can tell these sisters love each other (even if they may not admit it).

the huffmans

Krystal and her son Christopher are first time clients. I met Krystal last summer when we were both invited on a girls' trip with a mutual friend. Y'all, Krystal and Christopher were dressed perfectly, and the lighting was super dreamy for their session. Christopher was so sweet and did a great job following instructions and just being himself! I loved letting them just interact with each other and capture them in their true nature.

the lowes

Lastly, but certainly not least, is the Lowe family. Nicole has been what I will call a "super supporter" of my business, and I am so grateful for her and her family. I have known them since elementary school, so it's, uh, been a while :) The Lowes brought in the extended family so the grandparents could get some updated portraits with the people they love the most. The whole family is so sweet, and we had a lot of fun picking on Granddaddy. And those girls...oh my goodness. They all were so precious and cooperative.
